The hero speed card they have available to them is fun to have him zip into your opponents backline and take out half his archers with one swashbuckler attack only to bounce and go back behind your army to collect that sweet sweet xp i can never see that getting old lol. 1 pop calvary, how can you not love that, plus their architecture and walls look bad ass as hell. I love their warhut units so much and the fact you can bind and micro to have effective use of your fire without hurting your eco. Great eco and well balanced units.Īztecs. Portugese have the best map control by far because of their town centers. You get access to op cards like giving your dragoons 6 more range and your mortars 10 more range. Basically you can mass every unit becausw your eco allows it.Īge 4 is so awesome. Your eco is very strong and you get accees to the portuguese 'skirmishes' which cost less coin (35) and allows you to mass them.

Age 2 is the critical age because the age 1 eco is weak and in age 2 you must balance it as well as building an army.Īge 3 is awesome. You get town center each time you age up and that helps you make better eco than most other civs. All options are open.Īge 2 is pretty tricky because of lack of good light infantry. You can choose between faster hunting card which is pretty useless to other civs or maybe 300 food to faster aging. Furthermore, it gives you one 'free card'. Since they got no villager cards it gives me interest in early game.
